Time and time again, throughout history, God seems to show up when his people pray. At KXC we want to be a people who prioritise God’s presence above everything else and believe that prayer is the starting place for all that God wants to do in and through us as a community.
As we spend time in the place of prayer, we are moved to the point of action. As we encounter God and catch his heart for our pocket of London, we see creativity fuelled and new ministries birthed that refined the story of our city in the light of an all-loving God. We see courage instilled deep within us and hearts of compassion formed as we work to see God’s Kingdom come in King’s Cross and beyond.
For this reason, we’ve created a prayer room at KX House (237 Pentonville Road, N1 9NG) as a space for individuals or small groups to spend time in God’s presence, and pray for breakthrough. The space will be available to use during the day (Monday-Friday) from 9am-6pm during the building’s opening hours. To sign up and book a slot just click here.
We want prayer to be right at the heart of everything we do, as we believe it’s the starting place for all that God wants to do in us and in our city. Every Tuesday morning we gather together from 7.30 - 8.30am at KX House (237 Pentonville Road) - we spend a bit of time in stillness reflecting on a bible passage, then spend some time praying for God’s kingdom to break out in our community, compassion ministries, our workplaces and our city.
