KIDS AT KXC

Big changes are coming to KXC Kids this April as we create more space for our families to thrive.

From Sunday 19th April, we are excited to be relaunching our primary-aged kids' groups in a brand-new location: Winton Primary School. To make this move possible, our kids' ministry will look a little different for this next season. Please take note of the following updates:

KXC KIDS UPDATE

KXC KIDS UPDATE

New location and time for kids from Sunday 19th April: All primary school groups (Year R-6) will now meet at Winton Primary School during the 9:30am service only.

11:30am service: For the time being, there will be no kids’ groups running during the 11:30am service.

Preschool: Our youngest ones will remain at King’s House. We are also thrilled to introduce a brand-new dedicated group specifically for 2-4 year olds!

WE NEED YOU!

The move is about more than just a new building; it’s about creating a space where every child at KXC can encounter God, build deep friendships, and have a lot of fun doing it. But we can’t do it alone.

To sustain this new location, we need to grow our team. Whether you’re a natural storyteller, a master of games, or a consistent, welcoming face, we’d love to have you involved. We’re particularly keen to hear from those passionate about sport, art, dance, or music to help lead the different activity streams we’ll be offering every Sunday morning.

WHAT’S ON FOR KIDS

You and your family are so welcome on Sundays and throughout the week. We hope to build a community that supports parents and carers and to create an environment full of fun where children can make friends, grow and thrive.

  • On Sundays, our main kids’ programmes run during the 9.30am and 11.30am services at King’s House.

    Registration
Registration for groups opens 10 mins before the start of the service. The kids then head straight to their groups for the service.

    Pick up
Watch out for an announcement on the screens for when they can be picked up.

    What are the programmes like?
The sessions include free play, games, crafts, storytime, and praying together. We want to see children and families at KXC flourish in their relationship with Jesus, growing in their understanding of Him and learning to share His love with their friends and communities.

    Age groups:
Creche – 0-2-year-olds where parents stay to supervise
    3-5 year olds
    6-7 year olds
    8-11 year olds

  • Every Wednesday from 10am to 11.30am, during term time.
    Kings House, 242 Pentonville Road, N1 9JY

Little Haven is a community for parents, carers and kids (ages 0-4). All are welcome, whether you attend KXC on a Sunday or not.

    WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

The group aims to be a relaxed and welcoming place for parents and carers to meet and get to know one another, and for children ages 0-4 to play and have lots of fun in a safe environment. All parents and carers are welcome, whether you attend KXC on a Sunday or not.

    From 10-11.15am, we have a free-play session.
At 11.15am we gather together to sing, clean up and finish!

There is also coffee, tea, baked goods and fruit to enjoy.

    WHAT WE EXPECT

    • You’ll look after your own child or children, not leaving them unattended at any point.

    • You won’t take photos or videos of children other than those in your care.

    • You’ll treat everyone with respect.

If you have any questions, please contact Kath Brayford.

We look forward to seeing you at Little Haven!

  • We partner with Growing Hope King’s Cross, which provides free therapy services for children and young people with additional needs in the local area through a clinic run during the week.

We welcome children and young people with additional needs. Please email Abi Page if you have any questions about coming along on a Sunday.

Growing Hope is a registered charity working in partnership with KXC.

  • JOIN THE TEAM

Maybe we’re biased, but we think that the Kids team have the most fun!

We’re looking for fun and creative people to help equip the youngest members of our church for a life following Jesus.
