CHILDREN AND FAMILIES
At KXC we love welcoming families and kids of all ages. Our hope is to build a community that supports parents and carers, as well as to create an environment of huge fun where children can make friends, grow and thrive.
KXC Kids happens at our Morning service on a Sunday, and includes time for free-play, crafts, story times, songs of worship and praying together. We want to see children and families at KXC flourishing in their relationship with Jesus, growing in their understanding of Him and learning to share His love with their friends and communities.
We have 5 different age groups:
Little Bows (2-3)
Big Bows (4-6)
Big Arrows (10 and above)
KXC Kids takes place during our morning service at 10:30 at Regent High School. Children can be registered from 10:15am in the cafe area and need to be picked up by 12:10pm.We have an amazing team of volunteers who are dedicated to investing in our children’s spiritual lives. We’ll have time in our groups to have fun, get to know each other better and get to know God better.
To find out more please contact Abby Rees at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We welcome children and young people with additional needs. Please email Naomi at email@example.com if you have any questions about coming along on a Sunday.
We gather all of our families and kids together regularly to hang out and get to know each other better. It’s a brilliant opportunity for the parents and carers to have a chance to catch up over coffee and pastries, and for the kids to play. Recent socials have included trips to Coram Fields, and the Timberlodge cafe in the Olympic Park. Feel free to invite friends with kids – the more, the merrier!

Little Haven, KXC’s community for parents, carers and kids (age 0-4), meet every Wednesday morning in the term time from 10am to 11.30am at Depot Point, Wicklow Street, WC1X 9AH. The group aims to be a relaxed and welcoming place for parents and carers to meet and get to know one another, and for children to play and have lots of fun in a safe environment. All parents and carers are welcome, whether you attend KXC on a Sunday or not. Each week there will be a time for children to play, sing songs and have a snack, as well as plenty of tea, coffee and croissants for the adults too.

Growing Hope King’s Cross is a registered charity working in partnership with KXC. Growing Hope provides free therapy services for children and young people with additional needs in the local area through a clinic run during the week. Part of Growing Hope’s aims is to grow hope in Jesus, we are therefore offering to pray for children and their families who access our services. Individuals will have the opportunity to come along to church if they would like to. We are therefore putting support and strategies in place to enable church to become more accessible for individuals and families with additional needs. Every family is welcome to participate in what we’re doing. If you know of a child or young person who has difficulties with everyday activities such as eating, playing, writing, paying attention, they could access our services through making a referral.
